What is Scheduled Waste
Scheduled Waste is any matter that whether in solid, semi- solid, liquid, gas or vapour form, is emitted, discharged or deposited into the environment in a volume, composition or manner that causes pollution. Material can therefore be considered as waste, or not, depending on the manner in which it is managed so as to not cause pollution. A waste is defined as hazardous if it has one or more of the following traits:
- Ignitability
- Corrosivity
- Toxicity
- Reactivity
- Infectious

1. ADVISORY ON THE COST-SAVING METHOD FOR SCHEDULED WASTE MANAGMENT

There are 77 types of industrial waste codes, and companies need to be qualified with these codes before they’re authorised to dispose waste. Legenda began with only 5 codes, before moving on the 39 and ultimately fulfilling 50 codes today. This translates into an industry-leading capacity of disposing the majority of waste categories.

In the event a vehicle encounters an accident while carrying waste, causing contamination to occur, Legenda sends its Emergency Response Team to assist immediately regardless of whether the waste is hazardous. This simple measure goes a long way in reducing any possible pollution or harmful leakage.
